2008-09 LAREDO BUCKS BOOSTER CLUB

The Laredo Bucks Booster Club was selected as the CHL Booster club of the year for the 2003-04 CHL Regular Season, and was voted third best in the 2007-08 Best of the Best Poll.

The LBBC was set up to help make the player's stay in Laredo a pleasant one and we help with the following:

- Provide some of the basic essentials for their apartments, such as linens, towels, kitchen supplies (dishes, glasses, silverware, toasters, coffeemakers, etc).

- Set up each apartment with some food for the first week of the season: cereal, bottled water, milk, pasta, dishwashing liquid, paper towels, napkins, paper plates, etc. Breakfast for each player during the two weeks of training camp. Stock their lunchroom with cereal, breakfast bars, milk, juice, bottled water, Gatorade, toaster waffles, bread, peanut butter & jelly along with a variety of snacks such as chips & candy bars.

- Provide munchies, bottled water & Gatorade for each road trip.

- Catered lunch or dinner for the Laredo Bucks and the Visiting team.

- Host the Christmas Party for the team and the LBBC members. We also host a collective Birthday party for all the Laredo Bucks.

We provide small extras for the players through out the season through fundraising events such as garage sales, car washes, bus trips and raffles.
