 LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League announced Wednesday that they have hired two new members of the front office staff, Director of Ticket Sales Rory Brady, and Group Sales Executive Jon Rathbun. Both Brady and Rathbun arrived in Laredo last week, and began their duties Monday.
Brady and Rathbun are both originally from New York State, and come to the Bucks after spending the last two years with the ECHL’s Charlotte Checkers. Brady served as the Sales Manager, while Rathbun worked as a Ticket Representative and Community Hockey Coordinator.

 LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League announced Tuesday that they have re-signed second-year forward Matt Summers for the 2008-09 season. Summers is the first Buck from last seasons roster to re-sign for the upcoming campaign.
Summers, who hails from Savage, Minnesota, had a productive rookie season for Laredo in 2007-08, finishing tied for 20th in scoring among first-year players, scoring 12 goals (three on the power-play), while handing out 23 assists (six on the power-play) for 35 points. Summers contributed points in some big spots last season, tallying five game-winning goals.
